Soil

Light

Bright, indirect light is ideal for Dendrobiums. They thrive in east or south-facing windows, but avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch their delicate leaves.

Watering

Water thoroughly during the growing season, allowing the potting medium to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

Care

Fertilize every 2–4 weeks during active growth with a balanced orchid fertilizer. Ensure good air circulation around the plant, as this helps prevent pests and diseases. Repot every 2–3 years or when the medium begins to break down.
