Plant care

Soil

Thrives in well-drained, sandy, or loamy soil. Butterfly Flower prefers soil that is slightly dry and doesn't tolerate heavy or waterlogged conditions.

Light

Tolerates a range of climates but thrives in warm conditions.  Requires full sun to bloom profusely. Ensure it receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.

Watering

Once established, it is drought-tolerant. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between watering sessions. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Care

Deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering. Trim back the plant in late winter or early spring to promote fresh growth. Requires little to no fertilization, as it thrives in nutrient-poor soil.
